Your Digital Chief of Staff — Luisa — is your always-on operational partner. She works in two modes: proactively, running jobs automatically in the background to keep your team aligned and on track, and on demand, answering questions and taking action whenever you ask.
The more you engage — and the more data you connect — the more useful she becomes.
Your Agent at a Glance
When you open your Digital Chief of Staff, the left sidebar gives you quick access to everything:
New chat — start a fresh conversation with your agent at any time
Daily Focus — your personalized morning briefing with priority items, follow-ups, and 1on1 meeting agendas. See Your Daily Focus for details.
Bookmarks — your saved OKR lists and Scorecards, always one click away
Past chats — scroll back through previous conversations and pick up where you left off
At the bottom of the chat, conversation starters give you quick prompts to jump into common tasks — like viewing your OKRs, checking what needs attention, building a Scorecard, or reviewing your actions for the week.
When your agent retrieves structured data like OKRs or Scorecards, it opens a split-panel view — the conversation stays on the left while the data appears as a visual artifact on the right. You can interact with the data directly from there: update results, add comments, or bookmark it for later.
Bookmarks
Bookmarks let you save quick-access links to your most-used OKR lists and Scorecards, so you can pull them up instantly without asking again.
To bookmark an OKR list: Ask your agent to show your OKRs. When the artifact opens on the right, click the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the panel.
To bookmark a Scorecard: Ask your agent to build or find a Scorecard, then bookmark it from the artifact panel the same way.
Your bookmarks appear in the left sidebar. You can:
Click any bookmark to reopen it instantly
Rename it to something meaningful (e.g. "Q2 Team OKRs")
Remove it when you no longer need it
Click Insight when viewing an OKR list or Scorecard to get an AI summary of what you're looking at

Proactive Jobs
In addition to on-demand conversations, your Chief of Staff runs a set of proactive jobs automatically — things she does without being asked, based on your Responsibilities settings. Each job can be turned on or off independently.
See Changing Agent Settings to manage which jobs are active and which teams they apply to.
Send Daily Focus Memo
Each weekday morning, your agent generates a personalized Daily Focus briefing with your priority items, follow-ups, and 1on1 meeting agendas. See Your Daily Focus.
Send Meeting Summaries / Follow-Ups
After each meeting your agent attends, it automatically generates a summary covering key discussion points, decisions made, risks, open questions, and next steps. You can create action items directly from the next steps within the agent. To enable this, connect your recurring meetings from Agent Settings → Data access. See AI Chief of Staff Captures Meeting Summaries & Next Steps.
Coordinate your OKR cycle
Your agent helps your team set up each quarter — creating a canvas with proposed OKRs, sharing it with stakeholders, and scheduling reminders for the next cycle.
Identify cross-functional alignment opportunities
Your agent scans OKRs across teams to surface alignment opportunities and suggests where cross-functional collaboration could strengthen execution.
Create and distribute scorecards
At key moments, your agent generates performance scorecards based on your team's current OKRs and shares them with the relevant people.
Send pre-reads ahead of staff meetings
Before your weekly team meeting, your agent sends you a tailored pre-read with OKR summaries and highlights so you can lead with clarity.
Prepare a Monday Memo
Every Monday, your agent sends a briefing to kickstart your week with key insights about where things stand across your team's goals.
Craft a Friday Wrap-up
Every Friday, your agent highlights team victories and surfaces kudos suggestions — making it easy to recognize great work before the week ends.
Provide timely nudges
Your agent sends reminders to team members to update their Key Results, so your data stays current without you having to chase anyone down.
Help close out past quarter OKRs
At the end of each quarter, your agent helps your team wrap up OKRs properly — prompting final updates and closing out incomplete items.
Best Practices
Bookmark your OKRs. Ask your agent to show your OKRs, then bookmark the result for one-click access every day.
Bookmark your go-to Scorecards. Keep the Scorecards you reference most just a click away.
Tune into your Daily Focus. Start each day with your briefing — it's the fastest way to know where to direct your energy.
Ask for a weekly risk plan. Try asking: "Help me make a plan for mitigating the biggest risks on my team this week."
Important Notes
You can turn any proactive job on or off, and choose which teams it applies to, from Agent Settings → Responsibilities.
Bookmarks are private to you and only available in your Digital Chief of Staff — they are not shared with other agents or users.
Connecting external data sources (Teams channels, Jira, Salesforce, and more) significantly improves the quality of on-demand answers and your Daily Focus. See How to connect external data to your WorkBoardAI agent.
